PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
201 stainless steel, with a certain acid and alkali resistance, high density, polishing without bubbles, no pinhole and other characteristics, is the production of all kinds of watchcase, watchband bottom cover quality materials. Mainly used for decorative pipe, industrial pipe, some shallow stretching products.
202 stainless steel is one of the 200 series of stainless steel, gb model is 1Cr18Mn8Ni5N. 200 series stainless steel belongs to low nickel high manganese stainless steel, nickel content, manganese content of about 8%, is a section of nickel stainless steel.
What is the difference between 201 stainless steel and 304?
1. Different components:
Commonly used stainless steel plate is divided into 201 and 304 two models, the actual composition is different. 201 stainless steel contains 15% chromium and 5% nickel. Stainless steel 201 is an alternative to steel 301. Standard 304 stainless steel containing 18% chromium and 9% nickel.
2.Different corrosion resistance:
201 has high manganese content, very bright surface with dark light, high manganese content easy to rust. 304 has more chromium, matte finish and no rust. Stainless steel is not easy to rust because the formation of rich chromium oxide on the surface of the steel body can protect the steel body, 201 material belongs to high manganese stainless steel than 304 hardness, high carbon and low nickel.
